The purpose of Jesus Christ
*Luke 4:18-19. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to
preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering
of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Jesus did not come to judge us or the world, but to save us
*John 3:17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but
that the world through him might be saved.

Jesus came to save us from our sins

Jesus came to destroy the power and works of Satan, aka Devil and Lucifer
*Matthew 5:17. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

10:10. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that
they might have it more abundantly.

in Christ Jesus before the world began.

Jesus calls us to repent
*Luke 5:31-32; Matthew 9:13; Mark 2:17. And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician;
but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
*Luke 13:3, 5. Except ye repent, ye
shall all likewise perish.
*Acts 17:30. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every
where to repent.
*Romans 8:1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after
the flesh, but after the Spirit.
