Beliefs of UDV Religion
Is UDV a Cult or Christian Church?
Ayahuasca Tea
União do Vegetal, referred to as UDV, is not Christian,
it is antichrist, and its teachings are in direct contrast to those of Jesus Christ. The god of the UDV is Mestre
José Gabriel da Costa (1922-1971). In a religious or spiritual setting, the disciples of Mestre Gabriel, late founder of the
UDV, drink an hallucinogenic beverage while its mediums use enchantments to consult with familiar spirits.*
The UDV, or União do Vegetal, strictly forbids reading or quoting the
Bible during any of its meetings, called sessions, they deny that Jesus Christ died on Calvary for
our sins, they refute the redeeming and atoning power and purpose of the blood of Jesus Christ, they do not believe that one must be born again, they do not espouse heaven and hell, they deny the biblical
virgin birth, but they believe only in reincarnation, and affirm that its founder Mestre Gabriel (dead since 1971) is
literally Jesus Christ, and that the UDV is the one and only true spiritual path. The UDV also teaches that
the black race was/is cursed by God, women are inferior, until they reincarnate
as men, and, according to Mestre Gabriel, the moon is made of light, so no one has ever stepped foot on
it, nor can it ever happen.
The cult's leaders teach its more dedicated
followers that their Founder Mestre José Gabriel da Costa (called Master Gabriel) is Jesus Christ himself.
While the latter is often concealed to its new recruits, it is acknowledged and embraced by all who
have risen (convoked or conducted) to what is known as the next degree on the path
of enlightenment. And although the Bible states clearly that Jesus Christ is the only way, truth, and life
(John 14:6-11), and that no one comes to the Father but through Jesus Christ alone, José Gabriel da Costa taught
that he is the only way and path to perfection. Both, however, cannot be correct, but while Jesus warned us that, "he
that speaks of himself seeks his own glory" (John 7:18), Satan, aka Lucifer, was evicted permanently from heaven
because he too proclaimed that he was the way to God. (Isaiah 14:12-17.)
Known as Mestre Gabriel or M. Gabriel, his disciples meet regularly
in sessions to seek the dead guru's guidance by drinking an hallucinogenic tea (chá) called Hoasca and making
enchantments.
At least twice monthly, UDV adherents
and participants meet in regular escala sessions at the temple and drink large quantities of
the hallucinogenic known as Ayahuasca (Schedule I substance), or Hoasca as Brazilians refer to it, and its leaders,
which are mediums, use enchantments to call on the spirits of the dead, including the late
Mestre Gabriel. While gathered in a familiar séance-style setting, or session, its constituents routinely
enchant, idolize, worship, praise, sing, and seek guidance and enlightenment from the dead ruler. It also has special
and extra sessions to honor the dead leader, such as the annual birthday celebration consisting of loud enchantments,
singing and worshipping, to the special session proclaiming his resurrection from the dead. There are other sessions
reserved exclusively for its more devoted disciples or members, called counsellors and mestres, with
lessons and teachings on unicorns, the minotaur, Hercules, Diana, a host of other Greek gods and goddesses, and
that King Solomon, Jesus, and Mestre Gabriel are the exact same person.
This cult publicly states that their objective is to "emulate the life
example lived by Mestre Gabriel," but whereas Jesus Christ is absent any acknowledgement by the UDV, they state during
each and every session, that the "teachings of Mestre Gabriel and Jesus are the same." But when pressed and asked what are
these exact teachings, they continue merely by parroting, "to love the other as yourself." The UDV fails to quote
the entire verse, which states to love the Lord your God with all your heart,
soul, mind, and strength. And the group never references a single scripture, moreover, because the Bible
is forbidden to be read in any session, and while the late founder taught that 30% of the Word of God is
erroneous, M. Gabriel never qualified which scriptures were fictitious.
Although the associates and disciples of the UDV call themselves Christians,
they are not followers of Jesus Christ, just as going into McDonald's doesn't make anyone
a Big Mac. Mestre Gabriel also taught that one must merit or earn his or her eternal perfection, known as scientification, by
a serious of good works over hundreds or even thousands of reincarnations. Many of the mestres of this antichristian
sect believe that Apostles Peter, Paul and other biblical apostles and prophets are currently walking among us, performing
good works, and (still) evolving toward the final destination of perfection, or scientification.
While the UDV categorically "denies that the blood of Jesus
Christ has any saving or redeeming significance," they say that Jesus is the Son of God. But, on the other
hand, to believe and affirm that Jesus Christ is the Son of God one must also be his disciple and believe and
follow His words and teachings, which they refute and deny as being true. Plainly said, they can't have it both ways,
because they acknowledge both publicly and privately that they are disciples of M. Gabriel and emulate his doctrine. The teaches
and practices of the UDV, consequently, are strictly forbidden, according
to the Bible, as found in Deuteronomy 18:10-12*, 13:1-5. (See also Galatians 1:6-9; 2 Corinthians 11:1-4, 13-15; 2 Thessalonians
2:10-12.)
*Deuteronomy 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you any one
that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter,
or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God
doth drive them out from before thee.
Notes
The greatest tricks that Satan ever pulled are being taught by the UDV, meaning Hell doesn't exist,
Satan does not exist as recorded in the Bible, Jesus did not die on the cross for our sins and salvation (Jesus died
in vain, according to the teachings of the UDV, because His shed blood lacks relevance), everyone must merit
or earn his/her own spiritual perfection as taught exclusively by Mestre Gabriel, which includes consuming Hoasca, every
human being will have thousands or even millions of reincarnations until they arrive at the goal of scientification, and that
everybody on earth will one day drink Hoasca.
In Ephesians 2:8-9, we read, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it
is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." The Bible also teaches us in Hebrews 9:27, that "it
is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that "all scripture
is given by inspiration of God," while in Proverbs 30:5 we see that "every word of God is pure," and in Psalms 138:2, the
writer proclaims, God has magnified His word above His own name.
